The president of the association, Ahmed Anis Al-Qarqani, participated in training workshops for civil society activists, which took place from November 2 to 5, 2017, in Sousse. The initiative was organized by the “Tunisian Mediterranean Center” (TUMED) in partnership with the National Authority for the Prevention of Torture (INPT). Participants received all the information and tools necessary to qualify them to conduct awareness campaigns for the general public in all regions regarding the prevention of torture.
Contributors to the activities of this workshop included Mr. Fathi El Jaray, president of the National Authority for the Prevention of Torture, as well as Mr. Lotfi Azaldine, Mrs. Saida Mabrouk, and Mrs. Hamida Dridi, members of the Authority. Additionally, Mrs. Donia Alani, an expert in gender, and Mrs. Hanaa Trabelsi, a specialist in communication and public relations, also participated.
